BR Powergen Ltd. (BRPL) is a state-owned power generation company. It is a public limited company formed under the Companies Act of 1994 which is relentlessly producing electricity in order to fulfill the vision of the government and to fulfill the promise of providing electricity to homes. BRPL was registered with the Registrar of Joint Stock Companies and Firms on 10 November 2010.
In compliance with the power generation program of the Government of Bangladesh to meet the country’s deliberately increasing electricity demand, B-R Powergen Limited is continuously generating electricity and implementing new power plant projects.
